Recycled Christmas

Commissioned by Liverpool's Open Culture, we aimed to show how much is thrown away over the Christmas period though an artistic medium. The installation was created purely from recycleable items, all of which were recycled after the display period was over. Situated in Liverpools Central Station the installation got much attention from the busy passers by.

The Stars

An immersive lighting installation enabling the viewer to experience the stars of the Liverpool skies through the light pollution, to walk through the milky way and experience Einsteins theory of black holes up close and personally.

The Lipa Lab - Liverpool Light Night 2016

As part of Liverpool Light Night 2016 myself and a team of students at LIPA opened the LIPA Lab, which included an interactive installation of a Liver Bird Hatchery in the grounds of LIPA. Within the 7ft tall eggs dancers played unborn Liver Birds and interacted with the public, the grounds were rigged with sensors which when triggered by the public set off alarms and scare the birds, uniting all in the gardens.

Footsteps is an interactive installation commissioned and produced by Quays Culture, Salford and Light Night Leeds as part of the SHINE programme.

The installation consists of a pathway of luminous grass feet which walk through the gardens in St Johns the Evangelist Church Leeds in October 2016 and Salford Quays in December.

New Beginnings

New Beginnings was commissioned for Nottingham Light Night in February 2017.

The interactive installation displayed the phrase 'Every End is a New Beginning' in 360 degrees to appear as if it were floating in the darkness.
